Air Fryer Granola (Vegan, Gluten-Free, Refined Sugar Free)

AIR FRYER GRANOLA RECIPE (Quick, Clean, + Refined Sugar Free)!

I really love granola. No – you don’t get it – I *really* REALLY love granola. There’s something about that salty, sweet, crunchy, oaty texture and taste that just does it for me. I love to just snack on it as-is, add it to ice cream, yogurt, or smoothie bowls…it’s just such a versatile, satisfying snack. That said, I’m often precluded from making granola because of the oven preheating and 30+ minute bake time; because when the craving strikes, it strikes fast. Enter: the best air fryer granola recipe: it’s ready for you in under 15 minutes (including prep time!) and is devastatingly crunchy, healthy, and delicious.

I keep finding fun, new ways to use the air fryer and this one was particularly exciting for me. And after a couple of batches, I’ve officially perfected this air fryer granola. Think of this recipe as a base, but you can get creative by adding in or swapping out your favorite nuts, seeds, fruits, etc. – please share in the comments below if you made any fun additions to my recipe! Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rolled oats (I use Thrive Market Organic Oats)

  • 1/3 cup Chopped nuts (walnuts and/or almonds are my favorite)

  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds

  • 3/4 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp Melted, unrefined coconut oil

  • 1-2 tbsp Maple syrup (or agave, if preferred)

Directions

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Distribute evenly into your air fryer (parchment paper can be used, but is not necessary).
  • Set temperature to 325° and air fry for 5 minutes initially. Open the air fryer, give the granola a shake, and cook for another 3-5 minutes, depending on your air fryer. I cook mine a total of 8 minutes.
  • Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then enjoy! I love this with some vegan yogurt and berries for breakfast, a snack, or a healthy dessert.

Notes

  • Bonus: I love adding in some coconut flakes, dried apricots, dried cherries, goji berries or cacao nibs/chocolate chips (after cooking/cooling!) to take this ‘nola up a notch.
