Vegan Apple Crumble
If you know me, you know I love a good crumble. It really is of the easiest, yet most delicious recipes you can make at home – and it’s very easily veganized. I shared the recipe for my vegan berry crisp this summer (which I admittedly keep on heavy rotation during the winter months, as well), but given the change of the seasons I thought it was high time that I shared my vegan apple crumble recipe.
For anyone searching for a warming, crowd-pleasing holiday dessert to bring to a gathering or just enjoy at home on a chilly evening, this is it. There’s just something so nostalgic about the warm cinnamon apple goodness of this dessert. Bonus: it will make your house smell like absolute *heaven.*
I also love this vegan apple crumble recipe because it can be very “clean,” if that’s what you’re going for. You can use gluten-free flour and coconut sugar if you’re aiming to reduce refined sugar in your diet, and it uses very little sugar, in general (you can always adjust the sugar levels based on your preferences, as well). You’re also getting some whole grain goodness from the oats, which is an added heart-healthy perk! I buy Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free 1:1 flour, gluten-free rolled oats, and coconut sugar for this recipe from Thrive Market, which is my go-to for healthy pantry staples.
If you’re looking for more cozy vegan recipe inspo, check out my other recipes like this creamy spicy fusilli, easy vegan quiche, or air-fryer granola (the latter makes for an excellent holiday gift – just add the granola to a mason jar, throw a bow on it, and you have a thoughtful, healthy, homemade treat to share with loved ones).
